ENDORSED BY THE CALIFORNIA DEMOCRATIC VOTER GUIDE

“When we walk down the street with our dogs conversation often
ensues. Dogs encourage active listening and productive discourse. So if our dogs do
all this for us, shouldn’t we do more for our dogs? Cleaning up our parks would be a
nice start. Why aren’t local ordnances enforced against littering, encampments, public
urination (and defecation)? Why are our first responders spending all their time
checking on poor humans who are clearly incapable of taking care of themselves but
yet the responders have no legal means of taking them in for treatment?

“Our city is spiraling out of control. Our parks are filling up with trash, encampments,
human waste. Honestly, Regen and I have to head up into the Santa Monica Mountains
to escape it. When are we going to hold our elected officials accountable for the jobs
they were hired to do? Public safety and quality of life are pretty basic, folks. But our
leaders just can’t seem to get it right.

“That’s where the County Central Committee comes in: Holding elected officials and
candidates accountable through the power of endorsements, either given OR withheld.
It shouldn’t just be a rubber stamp for any elected official with a “D” after their name,
and that’s one of the reasons my human is running to represent the 44th Assembly
District on the L.A. County Central Committee for the Democratic Party.
“One more thing: Fellow Canines – After you get your humans to vote for Regen Wilson
please ensure they pick up your poo. It’s piling up out there!”
